KH Gallery Ginza 7th Exhibition
Tree, Life, Shine, Path, Joy, Spirit…

KH Gallery Ginza in Namiki Street, Ginza, presents variety of artworks of an artist Hiroko Koshino that match up with each season. This exhibition marks the seventh occasion, featuring “Tree Series” that Koshino has been working on for a long time. Among the artist’s 16 pieces of work include “Holy Dichotoma,” along with her latest work of a folding screen that had been exhibited at the 77th anniversary of her birth. “Holy Dichotoma” is a piece that had been exhibited at The Salon Comparaisons held at Grand Palais, Paris in 2011.

“Trees synchronize with spirit,” says Koshino. She planted an evergreen tree of Redwood (Sequoia Sempervirens) in her studio in Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture, where she mainly draws her art works. She named the studio “Semper,” with her wishes for everlasting prosperity.

This exhibition’s Tree Series captures paths of Hiroko Koshino’s bright and lively creative life, which represents joy. Please enjoy the exhibition.
